William McCreery 
William was born about 1764 in Botetourt Co, VA. William's father was James McCreery and his mother was Mary Frazer. His paternal grandfather was James McCreery. He had two brothers and four sisters, named James, John Clark, Mary Jane, Rosana, Elizabeth and Margaret. He was the third youngest of the seven children.
