George was born on March 9th, 1795 in Bischwiller, Bas-Rhin, France. George's father is Jacob Moscherosch and his mother is Anne Marie Hamm. His paternal grandparents are Johann Jacob Moscherosch and Maria Magdalena Schneider. He had a brother and two sisters, named Jean Jacques, Anna Maria and Madeleine.
