Archibald Douglas

Archibald was born in 1489 in Douglasdale, Lanarkshire, Scotland. Archibald's father was George Douglas and his mother was Elizabeth Drummond. His paternal grandparents were Archibald Douglas and Elizabeth Boyd; his maternal grandparents were John Drummond and Elizabeth Lindsay. He had a brother and three sisters, named George, Janet, Alison and Elizabeth. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 68 in 1557 in Tantallon Castle, Lothian, Scotland.
