Her paternal grandfather was Robert Maxwell and her paternal grandmother is Agnes Stewart; her maternal grandfather was William Douglas and her maternal grandmother is Elizabeth Crichton. She had a brother named Robert. She was the older of the two children. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named John, Hugh and Mary. She died in 1593.General Notes
