David Dunbar 
David was born about 1379 in Cockburn, Berwickshire, Scotland. David's father was George Dunbar and his mother was Christina Seton. His paternal grandparents were Patrick Dunbar and Agnes Randolph; his maternal grandparents are Andrew Alan De Wynton and Margaret De Seton. He had five brothers and two sisters, named George, Colin, Gavin, John, Patrick, Elizabeth and Janet. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He had a half-brother named George.
