Mary was born about 1380 in Rothesay Castle,  Isle of Bute, Ayrshire, Scotland.  Mary's father was Robert III Stewart and her mother was Annabella Drummond.  Her paternal grandparents were Robert II Stewart and Elizabeth Muir; her maternal grandfather was John Drummond and her maternal grandmother is Mary Montfichet. She had two brothers and two sisters, named David, James I, Margaret and Elizabeth.  She was the second youngest of the five children.  She died in 1458 in Dumfermline, Fife,  Scotland.

‌Mary and George were married in a religious ceremony on May 24th, 1397 in Scotland.  They had a son and two daughters, named William, Elizabeth and Mary.


Mary's second family with James Kennedy

‌Mary and James were married in a religious ceremony in 1404 in Scotland.  They had three sons and a daughter, named Gilbert, James, John and Mary.


Mary's third family with William Graham

‌Mary and William were married in a religious ceremony on November 13th, 1413 in Scotland.  They had four sons named Patrick, Walter, William and Robert.


Mary's fourth family with William Edmonstone
