Samuel Champlin was born on April 13th, 1796 in Hopkinton, Washington, Rhode Island, USA.1 Samuel Champlin's father was Harris Chesebro and his mother is Martha Champlin. His paternal grandparents were James Chesebrough and Lucy Pendleton; his maternal grandparents are Samuel Champlin and Mary Kenyon. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Harris, Nathan, Eli, Jared, Patt Polly, Lydia, Rhoda Rhody, Phoebe and Catherine. He was the fourth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 54 in 1850 in Madison, New York, USA.1 -
