Robert was born on December 16th, 1794 in Edgefield, SC, USA.1 Robert's father was George Parris and his mother is Caty Baldridge. His paternal grandparents were Richard Pearis and Pratchey Moytoy; his maternal grandparents were Daniel Baldridge and F N Wilson. He had eight brothers and ten sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Moses "Tu Lu Squit", John David, Aaron, George Parris, George, James, John, William, Nellie, Sallie, Lucretia, Betsy, Caty, Lucretia, Lueretia, Nancy, Rachael, Rachel and Jesse. He had four half-brothers and four half-sisters, named George N, Robert Alexander, Charles Lewis, Samuel Pepper, Julia, Rhoda, Rebecca and Eleanor. He died at the age of 63 on February 12th, 1858 in Westville, Decatur, IN, USA.1 -
