Samuel Pepper was born in 1791 in Pearisburg, Giles, VA, USA.1 Samuel Pepper's father was George Parris and his mother was Rebecca Clay. His paternal grandparents were Richard Pearis and Pratchey Moytoy. He had three brothers and four sisters, named George N, Robert Alexander, Charles Lewis, Julia, Rhoda, Rebecca and Eleanor. He had nine half-brothers and ten half-sisters, and also a half-sibling of unknown gender, named Moses "Tu Lu Squit", Robert, John David, Aaron, George Parris, George, James, John, William, Nellie, Sallie, Lucretia, Betsy, Caty, Lucretia, Lueretia, Nancy, Rachael, Rachel and Jesse. He died at the age of 69 in 1860.1 -
