WILLIAM De BRAOSE

WILLIAM was born in 1210.¹   WILLIAM's father was WILLIAM 'THE YOUNGER' De BRAOSE and his mother was MAUD (MATILDA) De CLARE.  His maternal grandparents were RICHARD De CLARE and AMICIA FITZWILLIAM. He had six brothers named JOHN, RICHARD, ANTHONY, GILES, PHILLIP and WALTER.  He was the youngest of the seven children. He had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named JOHN, RHYS- MECHYLL, MAREDYD and MAUD.  He died at the age of 77 on March 18th, 1287.¹
