MAREDYD Ap RHYS-GRYG

MAREDYD was born in 1213.¹   MAREDYD's father was RHYS-GRYG Ap GWENWYNWYN and his mother was MAUD (MATILDA) De CLARE.  His maternal grandparents were RICHARD De CLARE and AMICIA FITZWILLIAM. He had a brother named RHYS- MECHYLL.  He is the younger of the two children. He had eight half-brothers named JOHN, JOHN, RICHARD, ANTHONY, GILES, PHILLIP, WALTER and WILLIAM.
