Mason Underwood

Mason was born on September 20th, 1821 in Green  Co.,Kentucky.  Mason's father was Hiram Underwood and his mother was Celia Buley.  His paternal grandfather was James Underwood and his paternal grandmother is Keziah Unknown. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named William C., William A., Thomas E., Calloway, Anderson, Lafayette, Green Berry, Hiram ,Jr., Nancy Jennie, Virginia Jane, Celia and Mary Jane.  He was the sixth youngest of the thirteen children.  He died at the age of 86 on September 20th, 1907 in Tiakiwa,Bureau Co. Illinois.  He was buried in Mt. Bloom Cemetery,Tiskilwa,Bureau Co.,Illinois.

‌Mason and Chelnissa were married in a religious ceremony on May 26th, 1840 in Green Co.,Kentucky.  They had two sons and three daughters, named Hiram, William K., Mary Jane, Matida and Ida.

‌Mason and Lucy M. were married in a religious ceremony in October 1884 in Bureau Co. Illinois.

‌Mason and Amelia Shultz were married in a religious ceremony on September 26th, 1888 in Tiskiwa,Bureau Co.,Illinois.
