Rachel Skaggs 
Rachel was born on October 27th, 1807 in Kentucky. Rachel's father was William Squire Skaggs and her mother is Mary Pierce. Her paternal grandfather was James ,Jr. Skaggs and her paternal grandmother is Mary Unknown. She had five brothers and three sisters, named William, Fielding, Jeremiah, Stephen S., Henry D., Libby, Jane and Louisa. She was the third oldest of the nine children. She had three half-sisters named Elizabeth, Mary and Nancy. She died at the age of 48 on January 19th, 1856.-
