William Squire Skaggs 
William Squire was born on December 20th, 1757 in Horse Pasture,North Carolina. William Squire's father was James ,Jr. Skaggs and his mother is Mary Unknown. His paternal grandparents were James Skaggs and Rachel Unknown. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Henry, James ,3rd,Rev., Stephen, Jeremiah, Rachel, Jenny, Loveless and Mary Elizabeth. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 90 on August 20th, 1848 in Green Co.,Kentucky. He was buried in Squire Skaggs Cemetery,Green Co.,Kentucky.-
