Mary Lucretia was born in 1827 in Kentucky. Mary Lucretia's father was Moses David Skaggs and her mother is Elizabeth Larimore. Her paternal grandparents were Charles Skaggs and Lucinda Thompson. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Lewis Byron, Stephen, John Tyler, John Thompson, Eleanor, Susan E. and Jane. She had six half-brothers and nine half-sisters, named Charles, John Thomas, James William, John Thomas, James William, Charles, Polly, Nancy, Rachel, Mary, Sally, Nancy M., Mary Polly, Eleanor and Rachel Sally. She died at the age of 82 in May 1909.-
