John Robert Jackson Keahey 
John Robert Jackson was born on August 21st, 1817 in Wayne Co.,Mississippi. John Robert Jackson's father was George Jackson Keahey and his mother was Margaret Keahey. His paternal grandparents were John Keahey and Martha Jackson; his maternal grandparents were James Keahey and Mary Jane Jackson. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named George Pleasant, Preston Gustavius, Martha Graham, Christian Mason, Margaret Malinda, Virginia Caroline, Irene LeJane, Sarah Emaline and Mary Ann. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 77 on January 26th, 1895 in Rockwall,Texas. He was buried in Lawhorn Cemetery.General Notes
Under his leadership the Keahey Clan moved to Rockwell, Texas in 1880.
