Amanda Jane Keahey 
Amanda Jane was born in 1850 in Scott Co.,Mississippi. Amanda Jane's father was John Robert Jackson Keahey and her mother was Martha Slay. Her paternal grandparents were George Jackson Keahey and Margaret Keahey. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named William, George Thomas, Alvia Wiggin, John Thomas, James A., Benjamin Franklin, Joseph Henry, Margaret, Frances Indiana and Martha. She died at the age of 76 in 1926 in Rockwall,Texas.-
