George Burder Keahey 
George Burder was born in February 1790 in North Carolina. George Burder's father was James Keahey and his mother was Mary Jane Jackson. His paternal grandparents were William Mac Keachy and Margaret Unknown; his maternal grandfather was Samuel Jackson and his maternal grandmother is Christian Unknown. He had four brothers and two sisters, named William, James ,Jr., Samuel M., John, Eleanor and Margaret. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 62 on February 19th, 1852 in Alexandria,Louisiana.General Notes
