He had four brothers and three sisters, named James, Samuel Norton, John Linder, Jack L., Winnie Margaret, Susan Penelope and Mary Eliza. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 82 on June 8th, 1939 in Waco,McLennen Co.,Texas. He was buried in Allen- Johnston Cementry 4 miles north of Wallis,Austin Co.,Texas.-
