Margaret was born on November 28th, 1489 in Westminster Palace, London, England.  Margaret's father was Henry VII Tudor of England and her mother was Elizabeth Plantagenet of York.  Her paternal grandparents were Edmund Tudor and Margaret Beaufort; her maternal grandparents were Edward IV Plantagenet of England and Elizabeth Woodville. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Arthur, Henry VIII Tudor of, Edward, Edmund, Elizabeth, Mary and Katherine.  She died at the age of 51 on October 18th, 1541 in Methven Castle, Perthshire, Scotland.  She was buried in Carthusian Abbey of St. John, Perth, Perthshire, Scotland.
