Samuel Sutton 
Samuel was born on November 16th, 1832 in Paw Paw, Morgan or Hampshire County, Virginia. Samuel's father was Samuel Sutton and his mother was Margaret Critton. His maternal grandparents were John Jr Critton and UNKNOWN Barbara. He had five brothers and a sister, named Isaac, William, Franklin, Fenton, Critton and Letty Ann. He was the third youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 70 on April 1st, 1903 in Illinois. He was buried in 1903 in Evergreen Cemetery, El Paso, Woodford County, Illinois.General Notes

"Grandfather Samuel Sutton had married Mary Jane Johnson on 7-29-1855-she
died 4 years later of galloping consumption. He married Hannah Sheldon on
May 3,1865 -all in Peoria County-and a year or so later he went over to
El Paso."
