Daniel Washington Shaver 
Daniel Washington was born on February 28th, 1866 in Nicholas County, West Virginia. Daniel Washington's father was George Washington Shaver and his mother was Lucinda Judy. His paternal grandparents were George E. Shaver and Isabelle Rodgers; his maternal grandparents were William Judy and Sara Walkup. He had four brothers and six sisters, named William Alexander, Samuel Ely, George Edward, Gilbert Christopher, Sarah Isabella, Mary Catherine, Margaret Elizabeth, Esta Jane, Rebecca J. and Rachel. He was the fourth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 78 on February 17th, 1945.-
