George E. Shaver 
George E. was born on May 6th, 1793 in possibly Greenbriar County, Virginia (now West Virginia). George E.'s father was Christopher Shaffer and his mother was UNKNOWN Elizabeth. His paternal grandparents were Paul Shaver and Elizabeth Vogt. He had a brother and two sisters, named Peter, Elizabeth and Mary. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Christopher, Phillip and Phoebe. He died at the age of 56 on December 23rd, 1849 in Walker's Meadows,Greenbriar County, Virginia (now West Virginia). One source (Gennis H. Gonzalez, 134 W 2nd S Rigby Idaho 83442) gives
George's death on 24 JAN 1849. She also lists George's parents as George
Shaver (born about 1769 in Virginia son of Sebaston Shaver) and Mary
Gilaspy (married 14 MAR 1789 in Botetourt County, Virginia) .
Glen Shaffer reported that George E. Shaver's tombstone lists June 24,
1849 as the date of his death.
