Mary Catherine Shaver 
Mary Catherine was born on December 2nd, 1863 in Nicholas County, West Virginia. Mary Catherine's father was George Washington Shaver and her mother was Lucinda Judy. Her paternal grandparents were George E. Shaver and Isabelle Rodgers; her maternal grandparents were William Judy and Sara Walkup. She had five brothers and five sisters, named William Alexander, Daniel Washington, Samuel Ely, George Edward, Gilbert Christopher, Sarah Isabella, Margaret Elizabeth, Esta Jane, Rebecca J. and Rachel. She was the third oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 72 on February 23rd, 1936 in Rupert, Greenbrier County, West Virginia. She was buried in Atwell Cemetery.-
