Mamie Artie Shafer 
Mamie Artie was born on May 9th, 1887 in Roane County, West Virginia. Mamie Artie's father was Peter Henry Shaver and her mother was Elizabeth Haynes. Her paternal grandparents were Paul Shaver and Susan Todd. She had seven brothers and two sisters, named William E., Joseph E., Jessie J., Arney A., Lemie Lloyd, Carl R., Otha Clyde, Eliza Esteline and Martha R.. She was the fourth oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 33 on February 15th, 1921 in Roane County, West Virginia.-
