Rosa Jane Gordon 
Rosa Jane was born on June 22nd, 1864 in Eagle, La Salle County, Illinois. Rosa Jane's father was Samuel Gordon and her mother was Susan Ann McDowell. Her paternal grandparents were James Gordon and Mary Bratton; her maternal grandparents were James M. McDowell and Eliza Daniels. She had five brothers and six sisters, named George R., Leroy, Levy, John Harrison, Wiley James, Mary Eliza, Sarah Rebecca, Ophelia Grace, Ella Belle, Emma May and Francis Marion. She was the third oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 30 on March 18th, 1895. She was buried in March 1895.General Notes
