Louise Mathilda Enstad 
Louise Mathilda was born on January 11th, 1892 in Bergen Township, Nelson County, North Dakota.1 Louise Mathilda's father was Ole Johannes Enstad and her mother was Mari Olsdatter Enstad. Her paternal grandparents were Johannes Johannesson Midti Overlie and Kari Syversdatter Sorpa Overlie; her maternal grandparents were Ole Johannesson Enstad and Kari Molmen. She had three brothers and a sister, named Jonas Alfred Olsen, Karl Mattias Olsen, Oluf Julius Olsen and Chlara Olea Olsen. She was the youngest of the five children. She died at the age of 92 on August 25th, 1984 in McVille, Nelson County, North Dakota. From a newspaper clipping in Louise Enstad Bjorlie's newspaper scrapbook:
"PRETTY CHURCH WEDDING-At the Sheyenne Lutheran Church at 1 p.m.
Wednesday, June 10, occurred one of the prettiest weddings that has been
witnessed in the said church when Lovise Mathilde Enstad and Olaf Alfred
Bjorlie were joined in the holy bonds of matrimony. The ceremony was
performed by Rev. H. O. Bjorlie, from Hills, Minn., assisted by S. S.
Wold the local minister. The church was very tastily and appropriately
decorated for the occassion with suitable flowers and shrubs. Gilbert
Bjorlie, Carl M. Enstad and Obert Enstad acted as best men, while
Henrietta Bjorlie, Ragna Molmen and Anna Thorsen assisted as
bridesmaids. After the ceremony the large party of invited friends were
given a splendidly arranged reception at the beautiful home of Ole J.
Enstad, every one feeling that they had attended one real and truly fit
wedding celebration. Among the many costly presents tendered the happy
couple, was also a warranty deed to one quarter section of Nelson County
land given the bride by her father he also at this time tendering a like
present to his eldest daughter, Mrs. Casper Foreng. The Groom, second
son of Mr. and Mrs. S. H. Bjorlie, is a progressive young farmer of
Norway township, where he is born and raised, while the bride is youngest
daughter of Ole J. Enstad of Bergen Township, where she is born and
raised. Both the parties are popular and respected young people, and we
join with their many friends in wishing them a long and happy life. Mr.
& Mrs. Bjorlie will be at home on the Bjorlie farm, which this young man
has rented for some time."
From the FORUM, (Fargo, North Dakota newspaper) listing under Obituaries
on Monday August 27, 1984:
"Mrs. Olaf Bjorlie The funeral for Mrs. Olaf Bjorlie, 92, Pekin,
N.D., will be there at 10:30 Wednesday in Sheyenne Lutheran Church. She
died Saturday. Louise Enstad was born Jan. 11, 1892, at Pekin, where she
grew up and was educated. She married Olaf Bjorlie June 10, 1914, near
Pekin, where they farmed. He died in 1939. She worked in Fargo for
eight years and had been a resident of the McVille (N.D.) Friendship
Manor for the past 12 1/2 years. She is survived by two sons and a
daughter, Orel, Pekin; Kermit, Zumbrota, Minn., and Helen Sutton, Fargo;
nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. (Stanley, McVille).
