Ingrid Amundsdatter Nord was born in 1740 in Nord Bjolverud (1-5),Gudbrandsdalen,Norway. Ingrid Amundsdatter Nord's father was Amund Kristofferson Nord Bjolverud and her mother is Guro Haldogsdatter Hovudbruket Brandlie. Her paternal grandparents were Kristoffer Syverson Sygard Sor Hole and Eli Amundsdatter; her maternal grandparents were Haldog Jakobson Hovudbruket Brandlie and Ingrid Sveinsdatter Vesl Enstad. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Finn Amundson Nord, Haldog Amundson Nord, Ola Amundson Nord, Amund Amundson Nord, Marit Amundsdatter Nord, Eli Amundsdatter Nord, Marit Amundsdatter Nord and Anne Amundsdatter Nord. She was the fourth youngest of the nine children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Kristoffer Amundson Nord and Marit Amundsdatter Nord. She died at the age of 66 in 1806.-
