Sarah Butcher

Sarah was born on October 19th, 1809. Sarah's father was John Anderson Butcher and her mother was Christina Alkire. Her paternal grandparents were Balthasar Butcher and Elizabeth Bush; her maternal grandparents were John Alkire and Christina McCann. She had eleven brothers and three sisters, named Gasper, Joseph Anderson, Jesse, Paulser, Lemuel D., Emmanuel, Granville A., Thomas P., John R., James Newton, Michael Ervin, Nancy Ann, Elizabeth and Margaret Ann. She is the fourth oldest of the fifteen children.
