Margaret Ann Butcher

Margaret Ann was born in January 1826. Margaret Ann's father was John Anderson Butcher and her mother was Christina Alkire. Her paternal grandparents were Balthasar Butcher and Elizabeth Bush; her maternal grandparents were John Alkire and Christina McCann. She had eleven brothers and three sisters, named Gasper, Joseph Anderson, Jesse, Paulser, Lemuel D., Emmanuel, Granville A., Thomas P., John R., James Newton, Michael Ervin, Nancy Ann, Sarah and Elizabeth. She is the sixth youngest of the fifteen children.
