Louis VI was born in 1081 in France.  Louis VI's father was Phillipe I King of France and his mother was Bertha Countess Of Holland.  His paternal grandparents were Henri I King of France and Anna Agnesa Yaroslavia; his maternal grandparents were Floris I Count of Holland and Gertrude Princess Of Saxony. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Henri, Charles, Eudes, Constance and Constance.  He was the third oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 56 on August 1st, 1137 in Chateau de Bethizy, Paris, France.


Louis VI's family with Adelaide of Savoy

‌Louis VI and Adelaide of were married in a religious ceremony in April 1115 in Paris, France.  They had seven sons and a daughter, named Phillipe, Henri, Louis VII, Hugues, Robert, Pierre, Phillipe Arch-Dean and Constance.
