Robert II was born in Orléans, France.  Robert II's father was Hugh Capet King Of France and his mother was Adbelahide Princess Of Aquitaine.  His paternal grandparents were Hugues Magnus Count Of Paris and Hedwige Princess of the Germans; his maternal grandfather was Guillaume III Duke of Aquitaine and his maternal grandmother is Adaele Of Normandy. He had four sisters named Adwige, Gisaele, Hedwige Capet and Alice.  He died on July 20th, 1031 in Melun, France.
