Louis IX was born on April 25th, 1215 in Chateau de Poissy, France.  Louis IX's father was Louis VIII "The Lion" King of France and his mother was Blanche of Princess of Castile and Leon.  His paternal grandparents were Phillip II (Phillip Agustus) King Of France and Isabella D' Hainaut; his maternal grandparents were Alfonso VIII King of Castile and Eleanor Princess Of England. He had two half-brothers and four half-sisters, and also two half-siblings of unknown gender, named Phillippe Auguste II, Robert I, Marguerite, Adelais, Alix, Agnaes Anna |Princess of France, Phillippe and Isabelle.  He died  due to in Battle at the age of 55 on August 25th, 1270 in Near Tunis, Tunisia.  He was buried in Saint Dennis, Isle De France, France.

‌Louis IX and Marguerite were married in a religious ceremony on May 27th, 1234 in Sens, France.  They had a son and a daughter, named PHILLIP III and Agnes.
