Edward I "Long Shanks" was born on June 17th, 1239 in Westminster, England.  Edward I "Long Shanks"'s father was Henry III King of England and his mother was Eleonor Countess of Provence.  His paternal grandparents were John "Lackland" King of England and Isabella De Angouleme; his maternal grandparents were Raymond Berenger V Count of Provence and Beatrice de Savoie. He had a brother named Edmund "Crouch Back".  He died at the age of 68 on July 7th, 1307 in Burgh-On-the-Sands, Cumberland, England.  He was buried in Westminster, Abbey.

‌Edward I "Long Shanks" and LEONOR were married in a religious ceremony on October 18th, 1254 in Burgos, Spain.  They had a son and two daughters, named Edward Plantaganet II, Joan Princess Of and Elizabeth.
