Joan Princess Of was born in 1272 in Akko, Hazafon, Israel.  Joan Princess Of's father was Edward I "Long Shanks" King of England and her mother was LEONOR Princess of Castile and Leon.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry III King of England and Eleonor Countess of Provence; her maternal grandparents were Ferdinand III \King of Castile & Leon\ and Joanna De Dammartin. She had a brother and a sister, named Edward Plantaganet II and Elizabeth.  She was the oldest of the three children.  She died at the age of 35 on April 23rd, 1307 in Clare, Suffolk, England.  She was buried on April 26th, 1307 in Austin Friars' Church, Clare, Suffolk, England.
