Edna Lourena was born on March 19th, 1910 in Monroe Co., Ohio. Edna Lourena's father was Winfield Scott Gatten and her mother was Martha Viola Smith. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Thomas Gatten and Hannah Jane Highman. She had a brother and four sisters, named Oliver Thurman, Estella Lovella, Chloe May, Mary Mildred and Ruth Sarah Jean. She was the second youngest of the six children. She died at the age of 77 on September 8th, 1987 in Woodsfield, Monroe Co., Ohio.-
