Dema Nadeen was born on December 5th, 1925 in Morrill, Scotts Bluff Co., Nebraska. Dema Nadeen's father was Arthur Lincoln Bailey and her mother was Persilla Belle Woolard. Her paternal grandparents were Burzelia Johnathan Bailey and Sarah Elizabeth Coen; her maternal grandparents are John William (III) Woolard and Nancy Ann Oglin. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Lloyd Myrl (Slim), Arville Lester, Arthur Clifford, J B (Jay), Alfred Allen, Ivahmarie Mellisa, Lois Fern, Waunetta Elizabeth and Sybil Pauline. She is the youngest of the ten children.-
