Josiah Akers 
Josiah was born on February 18th, 1789. Josiah's father was Augustine (Austin) Akers and his mother was Rhoda Thompson. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Blackburn Akers and Susannah Blackburn. He had three brothers and four sisters, named William Augustine, Jonathan, James, Elizabeth "Betsy", Delilah, Didamia and Lovicy. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 80 on December 3rd, 1869.General Notes
