John Blackburn

John was born about 1707 in Amelia Co., Virginia.  John's father was William Blackburn and his mother was Elizabeth Tye.  His paternal grandparents were John Blackburn and Elizabeth; his maternal grandparents were Lambeth Tye and Mary. He had two brothers and two sisters, named William II, Lambeth Tye, Elizabeth and Susannah.  He was the oldest of the five children.

They had a daughter named Susannah.
