Austin Akers

Austin was born about 1818. Austin's father was Josiah Akers and his mother was Sarah "Sally" Garrett. His paternal grandparents were Augustine (Austin) Akers and Rhoda Thompson. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named William George, James, Barbara, Lucinda, Kittie Ann, Mary, Sarah, Rebecca and America. He was the second oldest of the ten children. He died on March 1st, 1855.
