George Rector 
George was born on November 28th, 1814 in Knox County,IN. George's father was John Preston Rector and his mother was Catherine Price. His paternal grandparents were George Rector and Nancy Anne Atkinson; his maternal grandparents were John H. Price and Elizabeth Mayberry. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named John Price, William Henry Harrison, Enoch Mabury, Wheaton Bolivar, James Monroe, Nelson R. E., Albert Van Buren, Charles Prentice, Nancy Ann, Julia Ann and Emily. He was the oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 82 on March 18th, 1897 in Clay County,Indiana. He was buried in Oak Hill Cem. near Riley,Clay Co.IN.-
