Charles Prentice Rector 
Charles Prentice was born on February 10th, 1840 in Vigo County,Indiana. Charles Prentice's father was John Preston Rector and his mother was Catherine Price. His paternal grandparents were George Rector and Nancy Anne Atkinson; his maternal grandparents were John H. Price and Elizabeth Mayberry. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named George, John Price, William Henry Harrison, Enoch Mabury, Wheaton Bolivar, James Monroe, Nelson R. E., Albert Van Buren, Nancy Ann, Julia Ann and Emily. He was the youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 83 on November 12th, 1923 in Clay County,Perry Twp.,Indiana.-
