John Olphert Kemmis Captain 
John Olphert was born on November 5th, 1837 in of Corrigeen,Offerlane,Leix,Ireland. John Olphert's father was George Kemmis Reverend and his mother was Caroline Olphert. His paternal grandparents were William Kemmis and Ellen Mansergh. He had six brothers and two sisters, named William, Thomas, George, Henry Marcus, Arthur, Edward Richard, Anna Benjamina and Caroline. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 76 on December 26th, 1913.General Notes
