George Kemmis Captain 
George was born on October 16th, 1840 in of Corrigeen,Offerlane,Leix,Ireland. George's father was George Kemmis Reverend and his mother was Caroline Olphert. His paternal grandparents were William Kemmis and Ellen Mansergh. He had six brothers and two sisters, named William, John Olphert, Thomas, Henry Marcus, Arthur, Edward Richard, Anna Benjamina and Caroline. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 44 on May 24th, 1885 in (sp).General Notes
