Mary Elizabeth Bealmear 
Mary Elizabeth was born on October 2nd, 1875 in near Coal City,Owen County,Indiana. Mary Elizabeth's father was Henry Miller Bealmear and her mother was Caroline Orilla Carlin. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Bealmear and Susan Rebecca Shipley; her maternal grandparents were William Carlin and Lucinda Orilla DeWees. She had six brothers and four sisters, named William Henry, Samuel Carlin, Charles Lawson, George Washington Nance, Daniel Thomas, Edward Garvin, Clara Orilla, Clementine Alfonsina, Cora Virginia and Minnie Ann. She was the third youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 62 on January 28th, 1938 in Terre Haute,Vigo County,Indiana. She was buried in Roselawn Cemetary,Vigo County,Indiana.General Notes
After death of 1st husband and children, Mary worked in a laundry in Terre Haute, IN till she married Samuel Peter Miller. After a divorce in 1923, she married George Massy and they lived in Edwardsville, IL till her death. She died at her daughter's home while recovering from a cateract operation. While in Edwardsville, she ran a boarding house for a while for railroad personnel. Husband worked on RR.
