James Barton Bealmear 
James Barton was born in 1857 in Muskingum County,Ohio. James Barton's father was Thomas Bealmear and his mother was Elizabeth S. Barton. His paternal grandparents were Francis Bealmear and Elizabeth Anderson; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Laurence Barton and Elizabeth C. Pierce. He had two sisters named Eliza Barton and Julia Barton. He was the second oldest of the three children. He had three half-brothers and four half-sisters, named William Augustus, Henry Miller, Harry, child, Helen Virginia (Jennie), Susan Ann and Fanny Elizabeth.-
