Helen Virginia (Jennie) was born on August 31st, 1837 in Muskingum County,Ohio. Helen Virginia (Jennie)'s father was Thomas Bealmear and her mother was Susan Rebecca Shipley. Her paternal grandparents were Francis Bealmear and Elizabeth Anderson; her maternal grandparents were Johnsa S. Shipley and Anne Jane Wilson. She had three brothers and two sisters, named William Augustus, Henry Miller, Harry, Susan Ann and Fanny Elizabeth. She was the second oldest of the six children. She had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named James Barton, child, Eliza Barton and Julia Barton. She died at the age of 64 in 1901. She was buried in Moberly,MO 65270.-
