Carl W was born on September 30th, 1894. Carl W's father was Charles E Riser and his mother was Mary Catherine Bassett. His maternal grandparents were Jeremiah O. BASSETT and Martha Emily Young. He had a brother and seven sisters, named William H., Katie, Laura T., Lillian J., Rosa, Hazel, Nellie Pearl and Grace. He was the youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 83 on June 2nd, 1978 in Shelby IN. He was buried in Forest Hill Cemetery,Shelby,IN.-
