James William Morris 
James William was born on January 25th, 1850 in <,Owen,IN>. James William's father was William Godfrey Morris and his mother was Frances Gordon. His paternal grandparents were William Godfrey Morris and Nancy Young; his maternal grandparents were Archibald GORDON and Elizabeth OLIVER. He had four sisters named Charlotte Temple, Maria Louisa, Nancy Elizabeth and Harriet Noel. He was the youngest of the five children. He had three half-brothers and eight half-sisters, named Thomas Joseph, Seigle Messer, Benjamin F., Priscilla, Ellen, Laura E., Amanda, Charlotte Ellen, Esther Amelia, Jessa E. and Julia Adaline. He died at the age of 30 on May 11th, 1880 in Shelby,IN. He was buried in Morris Cemetery.General Notes
