She had three brothers and seven sisters, named Thomas Joseph, Seigle Messer, Benjamin F., Priscilla, Ellen, Laura E., Amanda, Charlotte Ellen, Jessa E. and Julia Adaline. She was the fourth youngest of the eleven children. She had a half-brother and four half-sisters, named James William, Charlotte Temple, Maria Louisa, Nancy Elizabeth and Harriet Noel. She died at the age of 78 on June 14th, 1945 in Bedford,IA.-
